NCT ID NCT06686823

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tested a cognitive training program to help breast cancer patients manage 'chemobrain'—memory and thinking problems caused by chemotherapy. Fifty women with newly diagnosed breast cancer took part, with half receiving the training plus educational materials, and the other half receiving only the materials. The program included 80 sessions focused on everyday tasks over four months, and researchers measured changes in thinking, memory, anxiety, sleep, and quality of life.
