First seen Feb 18, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tested a personalized cognitive training program to help breast cancer patients manage chemobrain—memory and thinking problems caused by chemotherapy. Fifty women with newly diagnosed breast cancer took part, with half receiving the training and half getting only an educational leaflet. The program included 80 sessions over four months, focusing on everyday tasks like managing money and planning meals. Results could lead to better support for patients during active treatment.
