First seen Aug 06, 2026 · Last updated Aug 07, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This trial tests whether adding a 12-session cognitive self-management program to usual supported employment and education services helps young adults with first episode psychosis improve their work and school outcomes. Participants are randomized to receive either standard services alone or standard services plus the program, which teaches strategies for attention, memory, planning, and problem-solving. The study tracks employment and education participation, cognitive function, and confidence in everyday cognitive tasks over 18 months.
