NCT ID NCT07598552

First seen May 20, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether older adults (70+) experience changes in thinking skills, like attention and processing speed, after having hip or knee replacement surgery and going home the same day. About 48 participants will take a short cognitive test before surgery and again on the first and seventh day after. The goal is to understand if same-day discharge affects early brain function.
