Your morning coffee could change how your medicine works
NCT ID NCT07044479
Summary
This study aimed to understand how drinking coffee or tea affects the way the body processes an experimental drug called enlicitide. Researchers tested 60 healthy adults, comparing blood levels of the drug when taken with coffee, tea, or just water. The goal was to see if these common drinks change how much of the drug gets into the bloodstream.
