First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study looked at whether drinking specialty coffee (rich in a natural compound called chlorogenic acid) could improve memory and thinking in people with type 2 diabetes. Forty adults who already drink coffee took memory and speed tests after drinking either specialty or regular coffee. The goal was to see if the higher-quality coffee could help protect brain function in a group at higher risk for cognitive decline.
