Summary

This study looks at whether a cochlear implant can help children and adults who are deaf or have severe hearing loss in one ear but hear normally in the other. The goal is to improve their ability to understand speech in noisy places and to feel where sounds come from. Participants will get a cochlear implant and be followed for 12 months to check safety and hearing benefits.
