NCT ID NCT07303673
First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study tested two different procedures to treat narrowing in the throat or windpipe (subglottic or upper tracheal stenosis). One method uses a special device to gently widen the airway, while the other removes scar tissue and places a small graft from the inside of the cheek. The study included 30 people of all ages with moderate narrowing. The main goal was to see which procedure better improves the size of the airway and helps patients breathe easier.
