First seen Mar 03, 2026 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study tests whether using stem cells from both a half-matched family donor and a cord blood donor can improve survival without cancer returning. It is for people with certain high-risk blood cancers like leukemia or myelodysplastic syndromes. The approach aims to control the disease, but lifelong monitoring and possible medications are still needed.
