Summary
This study tests whether two common blood thinners, clopidogrel and cilostazol, can slow the buildup of plaque in the neck arteries of people with type 2 diabetes. About 120 adults with diabetes and early signs of artery thickening will take one of the two drugs for a year. The goal is to see which drug better prevents artery disease from getting worse.
