Diabetes drug showdown: can these pills stop artery clogging?

Summary
This study compares two medications, clopidogrel and cilostazol, to see which one better slows the buildup of plaque in the neck arteries of people with type 2 diabetes. About 120 adults with diabetes and early signs of artery thickening will take one of the drugs for a period of time. The goal is to find out if either drug can help prevent heart attacks and strokes by keeping arteries healthier.
