First seen May 07, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study compares two medications, clopidogrel and cilostazol, to see which better slows the thickening of neck arteries in people with type 2 diabetes. About 120 adults with diabetes and early signs of artery disease will take one of the drugs for a period. The goal is to find out if these drugs can help prevent heart attacks and strokes by controlling artery plaque buildup.
