New Immune-Boosting cocktail targets Tough-to-Treat leukemia

NCT ID NCT02846623

Summary

This study is testing whether combining three different drugs works better for people with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) or a more aggressive form called Richter transformation that has returned or hasn't responded to other treatments. The combination includes two immunotherapy drugs that help the immune system fight cancer and one chemotherapy drug that kills cancer cells. Researchers want to see if this approach is safe and can help control the disease for longer.
