NCT ID NCT07362160
First seen Jan 24, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study tests a new clear plastic expander made from a biocompatible material to see if it works as well as the traditional metal Hyrax expander for widening a narrow upper jaw in adolescents aged 10 to 14. The researchers will measure changes in jaw and teeth position using 3D scans. The goal is to find a more comfortable and less visible option for correcting crossbites.
