Hidden artery disease common in back surgery patients?
NCT ID NCT07469020
First seen Mar 22, 2026 · Last updated May 03, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study looks at how many people with lumbar spinal stenosis (a back condition) also have peripheral artery disease (PAD), which narrows leg arteries. Both conditions cause similar leg pain, making PAD hard to spot. About 49 adults scheduled for back surgery will get a CT scan and other routine tests to find the best way to diagnose PAD in this group.
