First seen Jun 05, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looked at whether feeding premature babies on a day-night schedule and giving them their mother's scent could help them get off breathing machines sooner. 150 premature babies on ventilators and their mothers took part. The results showed that these simple, natural approaches may improve weight gain and reduce the time babies need breathing support.
