Summary
This study tests a device that removes specific immune cells from donated stem cells before transplant. The goal is to lower the risk of graft-versus-host disease, a serious complication where donor cells attack the patient's body. The study includes up to 90 children and young adults up to age 30 who need a stem cell transplant. Researchers will track how many develop severe graft-versus-host disease within 100 days after transplant.
