Immune cell booster shot targets tough leukemia in early trial

Summary
This early-phase study tests whether giving specially trained natural killer (NK) cells along with a standard drug (venetoclax) is safe for people with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). About 10 adults whose leukemia has come back or is hard to treat will receive the cell infusion after mild chemotherapy. The main goal is to find the safest dose and watch for side effects.
