First seen Nov 24, 2025 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study tests whether a stepped care approach using complementary health treatments (like mind-body therapies) can help people with both chronic pain and PTSD. About 60 adults from two primary care clinics will either receive this stepped care or their usual treatment. Researchers will check if the approach is practical and acceptable, and measure changes in pain and PTSD symptoms over 9 months.
