NCT ID NCT06065098
Summary
This study tests two different church-based programs to help reduce heart disease risk in Black adults in New Orleans. It will compare a program led by trained community health workers, which includes coaching and support, to a simpler group education program. The goal is to find the best way to help people manage blood pressure, cholesterol, and diabetes to lower their long-term risk of heart attack or stroke.
