NCT ID NCT04880096
First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study aims to create a large e-cohort of 5,000 chronic pain patients using a smartphone app called eDOL. The app lets patients report their pain, treatments, and daily life, while doctors can monitor them through a web platform. The goal is to better understand chronic pain and how it changes over time in real-world conditions.
What this could mean

What this could lead to
If successful, this could lead to better understanding and personalized follow-up for chronic pain patients, potentially improving care and treatment strategies.
What could go wrong
This is an observational study, not a treatment trial. It will not directly test a new drug or therapy, and results may take years to translate into clinical practice.
