First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study looks at people with a rare brain condition called cerebral folate deficiency, where the brain lacks enough folate. Researchers want to find out if the problem is caused by a part of the brain called the choroid plexus not working properly. They will use brain scans and tests on blood and spinal fluid to create better ways to diagnose this and possibly other brain diseases. About 65 participants will take part over two years.
