Soap and sanitation trial aims to slash cholera in congo hotspots

Summary
This study tests whether providing targeted water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) supplies and education to households of cholera patients can reduce the spread of diarrhea. About 2,900 people in South Kivu, DRC, will take part. The goal is to see if these simple measures can prevent cholera and other diarrheal diseases in the home.
