NCT ID NCT02024360
Summary
This study tested whether a family-centered program led by community health workers could help prevent obesity in young children. The program involved home visits, text messaging, and coaching on healthy eating and activity for 300 families with children aged 2-6 who were overweight. Researchers measured changes in children's weight and family health habits over time to see if the approach was effective.
