NCT ID NCT04522921
First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looks at whether eating more protein (25% of daily calories) helps children aged 7-14 with overweight or obesity lose more weight than a lower-protein diet. Over 10 weeks, kids follow a calorie-restricted diet and exercise program, then are followed for a year. The goal is to improve weight, body fat, and reduce risk factors for type 2 diabetes.
