Scientists probe Gut's role in lingering cancer survivor symptoms
NCT ID NCT07450872
Summary
This study aims to understand why many childhood cancer survivors continue to experience groups of symptoms like fatigue, pain, and depression. Researchers will follow 600 survivors and their caregivers, collecting surveys and stool samples over time. The goal is to see if changes in gut bacteria are linked to these symptom patterns, which could lead to better management strategies in the future.
