NCT ID NCT03481829
Summary
This study aims to understand how a mother's health, weight, and blood sugar during pregnancy affect her child's growth and risk for obesity, diabetes, and fatty liver disease later in life. Researchers will follow 1,500 Hispanic and American Indian/Alaska Native mothers and their children from pregnancy until the child turns 18. They will collect health information, samples, and track growth patterns to identify early risk factors.
