New cocktail aims to slow aggressive lung cancer

NCT ID NCT07373964

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests a new combination of drugs (chidamide, a PD-L1 inhibitor, carboplatin, and etoposide) as the first treatment for people with extensive-stage small-cell lung cancer, a fast-growing cancer that has spread. About 36 participants will receive the combination for 4 cycles, then continue chidamide alone to keep the cancer under control. The goal is to see if this approach delays cancer growth and is safe.
