Can chicken soup for the brain stop memory decline?
NCT ID NCT04555655
Summary
This study tested whether daily supplements made from chicken extract could help prevent cognitive decline in older adults who were not yet diagnosed with dementia. Over two years, 276 participants aged 55-75 either took the supplement, a related peptide, or a placebo. Researchers measured changes in memory, brain scans, and blood markers to see if the supplements had any protective effect.
