More chemo before surgery: better odds for rare thymic cancer?

NCT ID NCT07463313

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether 6 cycles of chemotherapy before surgery is better than 3 cycles for people with a rare type of thymus gland tumor. About 116 adults with locally advanced but removable tumors will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatment groups. The goal is to see if more chemo helps prevent the cancer from coming back or spreading after surgery.
