Your phone could help catch cancer treatment side effects before they get bad
NCT ID NCT05318027
Summary
This study is testing whether a simple chatbot on a patient's phone, combined with a Fitbit-like activity tracker, can help spot and manage symptoms from cancer treatment earlier. The goal is to see if this early warning system can help patients feel better and reduce unplanned trips to the hospital or clinic. It involves 70 adults being treated for lung, gastrointestinal, or head and neck cancers.
