Do ergonomic chairs really help your back? small study takes a look

NCT ID NCT01323127

Summary

This small, completed study aimed to understand how different chairs affect the alignment of the lower back and pelvis. Researchers compared a standard straight chair to an 'ergonomic' chair in 20 people, some with chronic back pain and some without. The goal was to gather basic knowledge about sitting posture, not to test a treatment.
