Mapping the hidden toll of diabetes in cystic fibrosis patients

Summary

This study aims to understand how common diabetes-related complications are in people with cystic fibrosis who have had diabetes for at least five years. Researchers will examine 200 adolescents and adults to check for eye, kidney, and nerve problems, as well as heart disease risk factors. The study will also explore how social factors and diabetes management affect these complications.
