Researchers track why cervical treatments fail in High-Risk women
NCT ID NCT07202936
Summary
This study aims to understand why cervical pre-cancer sometimes returns after treatment in women living with HIV, a group at very high risk for cervical cancer. Researchers will follow 250 women in Zimbabwe for two years after their treatment to see how often the disease comes back. They will test different monitoring methods, including HPV and DNA tests, to find the best way to check for recurrence and help improve future care guidelines.
