First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study looked at whether doing simple neck exercises between innings can prevent a pitcher's throwing shoulder from getting stiff and weak after a game. Twenty college baseball players who were pain-free while throwing took part. They did neck stretches between each inning of a simulated 5-inning game. The goal was to see if these exercises help maintain shoulder range of motion and strength.
