First seen May 06, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests whether an interactive video program, combined with help from a community health worker, can increase cervical cancer screening among African American women who are overdue for screening. About 288 women will be randomly assigned to receive either the interactive video plus in-person support or a standard educational video. Researchers will check medical records six months later to see if more women completed their screening.
