Summary
This study gathered blood, urine, and kidney tissue samples from 90 adults hospitalized with COVID-19 who also had or were at risk for acute kidney injury. Researchers analyzed these samples to learn how the virus affects the kidneys. The goal was to share findings publicly to speed up discoveries and improve care for COVID-19 patients with kidney problems.
