Summary

This study collected blood, urine, and kidney tissue samples from 90 adults hospitalized with COVID-19 who also had or were at risk for acute kidney injury. Researchers aimed to build a detailed database of these samples to better understand how COVID-19 affects the kidneys. The goal is to speed up discoveries and improve treatments for kidney complications related to COVID-19.
