Knee replacement showdown: cemented vs cementless implants

NCT ID NCT05630053

Summary

This study compares two types of knee replacement implants—one that uses bone cement and one that doesn't—to see which provides better long-term results. Researchers will follow 300 patients with severe knee arthritis for up to 5 years after surgery, measuring pain levels, knee function, and how well the implants hold up. Patients won't know which type of implant they receive until after their surgery.
