New test helps polish families track Gluten-Free diet in kids
NCT ID NCT07142148
First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026
Summary
This study aims to translate and validate the Celiac Dietary Adherence Test (CDAT) for Polish children with celiac disease. Researchers will enroll 20 participants aged 2 to 18, along with their caregivers, to check if the Polish version accurately measures how well they follow a gluten-free diet. The goal is to provide a simple, reliable questionnaire for clinics and families.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
What this could lead to
If successful, this could provide a reliable tool for Polish doctors and families to check if children with celiac disease are sticking to their gluten-free diet.
What could go wrong
This is a very small, early-stage validation study with only 20 participants, so results may not apply to all Polish children. The test is a questionnaire, not a treatment.
