First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tested a type of talk therapy (CETA) in 399 women in South Africa who have HIV, experienced intimate partner violence, and had trouble keeping the virus under control. The goal was to see if the therapy could help more women achieve an undetectable viral load and reduce violence. The approach combines proven counseling techniques to address both mental health and HIV care.
