CBD tested as potential aid for opioid addiction and pain

NCT ID NCT04587791

Summary

This study is testing if the compound CBD (cannabidiol) can safely help people who have both opioid addiction and long-term pain. Researchers will give different doses of CBD to 34 people who are already receiving standard medication treatment for their addiction. They will measure if CBD affects pain levels, drug cravings, and thinking skills over several lab visits.
