First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This pilot study is testing whether CBD oil can reduce pain and improve quality of life for people with diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN), a common complication of diabetes that causes nerve pain and numbness. About 20 adults with mild to moderate DPN will receive either CBD or a placebo for 6 weeks, then switch treatments. The goal is to see if CBD is safe and effective enough to study in a larger trial.
