First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether a daily dose of cannabidiol (CBD) can reduce inflammation, ease pain, improve sleep, and boost quality of life in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu athletes. One hundred athletes aged 18-40 who train at least 3 times a week will take either CBD or a placebo for 12 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in blood markers of inflammation, pain levels, sleep quality, and overall well-being.
