Cannabis cream tested for relief from Chemo's painful side effect
NCT ID NCT05388058
Summary
This study tested whether a cream containing cannabidiol (CBD) could help reduce painful nerve damage in the hands and feet caused by chemotherapy. Forty adult cancer patients with this condition applied either the CBD cream or a placebo cream for two weeks. The goal was to see if the CBD cream was safe and more effective than the placebo at easing symptoms like pain, numbness, and tingling.
