Lower pressure in cataract surgery may speed recovery

NCT ID NCT07222150

Summary

This study is testing whether keeping lower pressure inside the eye during cataract surgery leads to fewer side effects and better vision recovery. Researchers will compare two FDA-approved surgical systems, using lower pressure in one eye and traditional higher pressure in the other eye of the same patient. The goal is to see which approach results in clearer corneas and faster healing in the days after surgery.
