Carrot juice may stop colon polyps from returning, new study finds
NCT ID NCT06335420
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tests whether drinking carrot juice rich in natural compounds called polyacetylenes can prevent new polyps from growing in people who have already had high-risk colon polyps removed. About 400 participants will drink either the special carrot juice or a placebo daily for one year. Researchers will then compare the number and size of any new polyps found during a follow-up colonoscopy.
