Summary
This study tested whether taking carotenoids (natural pigments found in plants) by mouth can improve skin health and reduce visible signs of aging like wrinkles, dryness, and uneven tone. Researchers compared the supplement to a placebo in 80 healthy women aged 40-55. The goal was to see if the supplement could make skin look and feel younger without changing other habits.
