New suction device aims to make IUD placement less painful

Summary
This study compares a new suction-based device (Carevix) to the standard clamp (tenaculum) for holding the cervix during IUD insertion. About 100 women will be randomly assigned to one of the two tools. The goal is to see if the new device causes less pain and bleeding, and if providers find it easier to use.
