First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study compares two common pain medicine combinations after surgery: NSAIDs (like ibuprofen) plus acetaminophen (Tylenol) versus low-dose opioids plus acetaminophen. About 900 adults having gallbladder removal, hernia repair, or breast lump removal will take part. The goal is to see which combination provides better pain relief with fewer side effects.
