Caregiver training may ease burden after head and neck cancer surgery
NCT ID NCT05542706
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether special training for caregivers of head and neck cancer patients can reduce the stress of caregiving and help patients recover better at home. About 76 caregivers will be split into two groups: one gets standard care, the other gets hands-on training from nurses and therapists. The goal is to see if trained caregivers feel less burdened and if patients have fewer hospital readmissions.
