This study looks at how the body's automatic systems control heart rate, blood pressure, and blood flow to the brain when a person stands up. Sixty healthy adults will have their heart activity, blood pressure, brain blood velocity, and breathing recorded while lying down and then standing. The goal is to better understand the interactions between the nervous system and blood flow regulation using advanced signal analysis.
